Keri Michaels received the call around 3:30 am. Samantha Lockhart of Union County was on the other side.
Lockhart was out of breath and had a hard time communicating with Michaels.
“I knew she was already in labor and a child was coming,” said Keri Michaels.
Lockhart was at her house with only three young children. Her fourth child was on the way and Lockhart knew she couldn’t go to the hospital.
Michaels intervened there.
“It’s like God sent her for this situation. She calmed me down.” She was definitely great. It wasn’t the other way around. . “
Ultimately, Rockhart’s son was born at a healthy £ 8 5 ounce.
“I’ll never forget this call,” Michaels said.
