A 24-year-old man was shot dead after a quarrel near Parsons / Archer subway station in Queens, Jamaica.

Jamaica, Queens (WABC)-The recent gun violence has made the debate deadly in Queens.

A 24-year-old man died after being shot at Archer Avenue / Parsons subway station just Monday when the rush hour began.

Police responded to a bullet fired near the Jamaica Center around 4:30 pm on Monday.

When they arrived, police officers found a man with a gunshot wound on his chest at a subway station.

Police officers believe that after the man was shot, he rushed to the station for help.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was declared dead.

Police recovered the gun at the scene. No arrests have been made.
