A gas station clerk quarrels with a customer in Paramus, NJ, and is stabbed in the chest

Paramus, NJ (WABC) –A gas station clerk in New Jersey was stabbed in the chest after a quarrel with a customer.

The incident was reported Wednesday at a speedway gas station on Route 17 before 1:30 pm.

The quarrel between the attendant and the guest develops into a physical quarrel.

At some point, police say the customer took out the knife and stabbed the attendant’s chest.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

Meanwhile, the suspect was detained and arrested on the spot. He was taken to a medical center due to medical problems.

The reason for the first conflict is still unknown.

The identities of the suspect and victim have not yet been disclosed.
