A man wearing a camouflage tarp and carrying a rifle roaming the parking lot at the US-41 Jaguar dealership in Naples was caught on camera and arrested.

Police say the man in these images is 26-year-old Micah Bennett, who has been charged in connection with the incident.

When the officers arrived, they found an arsenal of weapons and ammunition in Bennett’s car.

The incident caused massive panic at Jaguar dealerships on Friday.

Because the front of the building is made of glass, people and employees were hiding.

The Naples Police have released a photo of Bennett at the dealership.

Police said he had 14 handguns, three assault rifles, an ammo box containing more than 20 pounds of ammunition, brass knuckles, and a bulletproof vest.

Naples police say people fear for their lives.

“One time he showed a rifle and was marching north and south through a parking lot with a rifle. One time he put a camouflage tarp over his head to hide himself from the outside, and then again Naples. “Police officer Brian McGuinn was speaking erratically to patrons and employees while holding a rifle.”

Naples police say Bennett was in the Fort Myers area visiting family, but it is not known why he was in Naples.

Police say they later learned from Bennett’s mother that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and had previously been subjected to the Baker Act.
