A pedestrian seriously injured in a hit-and-run tie on Palm Beach Boulevard

Trooper is looking for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a man crossing the street in Thailand on Thursday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an unknown driver was moving west on Palm Beach Boulevard in the right-turn lane, approaching Fairfax Drive at around 8:15 pm. A 47-year-old Fort Myers man was about to cross Palm Beach Boulevard. From north to south, in front of an approaching vehicle, when it collided with him and ran away.

Pedestrians rested at the location of the collision and were then taken to a local hospital in danger.
