Huh! Self-proclaimed anti-maskers around the world Maskman date Despite the seriousness of the global pandemic, this Virginia mother has revealed that her child is not subject to the rules!
Amelia King stood in front of the Page County Board of Education Thursday night preparing to vote on whether Mask’s obligations would continue to be met in the local school district. King said her children would not be forced to wear masks and threatened to take action if they did.
“My kids don’t come to school on Mondays with their masks on,” she said. “That’s not happening, and I’ll load all the guns and get ready –”
King was interrupted by a board member who told her that he had exceeded the three minutes allotted to speak during the meeting. “Hmm, hmm. I’ll meet everyone on Monday,” King said before leaving the room.
Later in the meeting, a member of the board read an email statement from King, where she apologized for the previous statement. She also emphasized the importance of children going to school without masks.
“I don’t mean that all the guns are loaded like a real firearm, but all the resources that kids can collect to get them to school without a mask. I will, “she said. “I sincerely apologize for the bad choice of words.”
Despite her apology, Antonia M. Fox and the school board’s Charme Gan Gordon said police presence would increase at all schools in the district.
“Comments like this go against everything we want to model for our students, but also against the essence of how we as a community should interact with each other,” Fox said. Gordon said in a statement. “Violence and intimidation are never acceptable or appropriate.”
The local government has begun investigating this case.
