A wild cat found in West Islip, Long Island.Suffolk County Police looking for animals

West Islip, Long Island (WABC)- Long Island officials are looking for loose wild cats (probably bobcats) in the area.
Suffolk County Police say someone found it near Boulevard Avenue in West Islip around 10:40 am on Tuesday.
Police officers responded to the location, but could not find the animal.

If you see wildlife, it is advisable to call 911 or non-emergency police number 631-852-COPS.
Strong Island Animal Rescue also encourages anyone who sees an animal to call 631-403-0598.
