The Fort Myers police station arrested Anna Marie Reagan on Thursday for drunk driving and a crash in 2020. Then, in early 2021, a man involved died.

According to an FMPD press release, police responded to a four-vehicle collision in the area of ​​Ortiz Avenue and Eastwood Green Street near 8:30 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

David Edwin Donaldson, 79, a victim also involved in the crash, was seriously injured and subsequently died on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Investigators say Reagan caused a crash while driving her red 2017 Toyota Corolla. Police officers who responded say Reagan showed signs of drunk driving at the time of the crash.

A blood test confirmed that her blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit at the time of the crash.

Reagan has three counts of vehicle slaughter (DUI causes death to humans or fetuses), DUI-illegal blood alcohol (serious physical injury to DUI and others) and DUI-illegal blood I am facing the crime of alcohol (DUI damage to property or others).

Reagan was held in Lie County Prison, where she remained undetained and detained.
