Celebrities still share their thoughts on Will Smith’s actions at the weekend Oscar, and Amy Schumer, who co-sponsored the show with Chris Rock, is up to date to do so!
Despite the quarrel a few days ago and public apologies to Chris and those who attended the Academy Awards, Schumer said she was still “triggered and traumatized” after the incident. I went to Instagram to state.
“I’m still triggered and traumatized,” she wrote. “I love my friend Chris Rock and I believe he treated him like a pro. I stayed there and gave an Oscar to his friend Questlove and everything was very disturbing.”
As previously reported, Will Smith put his hand on Chris Rock to protect his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, after the comedian made an insensitive joke about her bald haircut. He also says he shares some choice words with Chris and says, “Don’t put my wife’s name out of your mouth.”
Jada Pinkett Smith recently revealed that she suffers from alopecia. Nevertheless, Amy Schumer said she was fed up with the night events.
“Anyway, Will Smith’s pain is so bad that I’m still shocked, stunned and sad,” Schumer continued. “I’m proud of myself and my co-host. But yeah. I’m waiting for this unpleasant feeling to move away from what we all witnessed.”
Everyone knows that Amy Schumer has a unique sense of humor, so it’s unclear if the comedian posted it as a joke or promotion for her new Hulu series mentioned at the beginning of her caption.
