Pop-up storms that occur in the afternoon are scattered in the evening and burst after sunset.

A tropical cyclone Bonnie is expected to land near the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica tonight and emerge and strengthen over the eastern Pacific Ocean. It’s not a threat to the continental United States.
