Be kind: New Jersey high school students refurbished and donate computers to people in need

New Jersey (WABC)-New Jersey high school seniors are filling the digital divide by handing out computers.

17-year-old Dylan Zajac launched the non-profit organization Computers 4 People about two years ago.

Zajac collects and replays old computers and donates them to seniors, students, job seekers, and community groups in need.

The young founder wants to grow “Computers 4 People” nationwide.

Zajac says helping people was an exciting experience.

“People are obviously very happy to get it, and it’s a really great experience to be able to provide all these people with this necessary tool. It’s possible to offer these opportunities that weren’t available before,” he said. Told.

Zajac donated 180 computers.

“Computers 4 People” is currently working to supply 50 computers to the elderly.
