Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) — What the kids at the Big Bend Boys & Girls Club did Wednesday is give back before returning.
The Boys & Girls Club partnered with Foley and Lardner Law Firm to fill 400 book bags with school supplies.
About 15 boys and girls packed bags of supplies, including notebooks, calculators and crayons, with the help of Foley and Lardner employees.
Leon County Boys & Girls Club director Nadeje Pierre told ABC 27 that this is one of the organization’s top priorities.
“We are all going through difficult times. At the Boys & Girls Club, we support parents and provide the resources their children need to succeed academically. It’s one of our priorities,” said Pierre.
The Boys & Girls Club kids were also able to see the inner workings of the law firm.
Backpacks will be distributed at another event this weekend.
