Fu Chile! Chico DeBarge told police that he was ready to throw his brother under the bus after being reportedly pulled near a shopping center in Burbank, California last week, and his name was James.
According to TMZ, Chico was stopped by police on January 13 after police noticed that he was driving without a license plate and without headlights. Burbank PD said Chico did not have identification with him and instead identified himself as his brother, James DeBarge.
According to police, Chico was driving with two female passengers and found methamphetamine and a heroine during the search. He was arrested shortly after, and police officers properly identified him while he was booked.
Chico has been charged with drug possession, drunk driving, and camouflage. He reportedly spent 10 days in prison before being released on bail on Friday.
However, this is not the first time Chico has appeared in the police. Recalling that Chico was again arrested for drug possession in Burbank after noticing that police were using wires to unlock the SUV. Police reportedly thought he was about to break into the car and searched him for methamphetamine in his pocket.
Chico has admitted to suffering from addiction for years, and we hope he gets the help he needs to move forward!
