A woman who stole credit card information from a patient at “Your Doc’s Inn” in Cambridge, Maryland and a customer at Walgreens has been charged with 120 counts of theft and fraud.

A Maryland woman accused of using stolen credit and debit card information to shop online has been charged with 120 counts of theft and fraud. news release.

After working in Walgreens, a riverside city of about 13,000 people in Cambridge, Maryland, she started working at Your Doc’s Inn, an emergency care clinic in the same city. According to the release, the woman is accused of taking pictures of patients’ and customers’ credit and debit cards at both locations.

According to police, the card was used to purchase various goods online between November and September 7, 2021.

“She stole $519 from my debit card,” Maryland resident Carla Ramos told The McClatchy News. Ramos said he visited Your Doc’s Inn in early September and saw a woman working there. Fraudulent payments began appearing on her account that day.

“I’m pretty sure it was her,” adds Ramos. “She was shopping on her Etsy.”

Ramos said her bank has since refunded her all of the fraudulent charges.

Police are looking for additional individuals whose accounts may have been compromised after visiting an emergency care clinic or Walgreens in the past year, according to the release.

Your Doc’s Inn, Walgreens and Cambridge Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The McClatchy News.
