At arenas in the state with more than 10,000 seats, major precautions have been taken to allow guests to return inside with 10% of their capacity.

These include mandatory PCR tests from each participant within 72 hours of game time.

At Barclays Center, the net offers free quick inspections to anyone passing through the door.

Then, when you step inside, you will find an assigned, socially distant seat.

There are three main seating areas, each of which is divided into two or four fan pods.

“I have a QR code on my cell phone,” said Adina Irwin, general manager of Barclays Center. “And you can look at the menu and order your food, and the food will be brought to you. So it’s more in-seat service.”

The net will start with hundreds of fans tonight, with up to 1800 on the stands after the all-star break.

Madison Square Garden is also preparing for fans.

Meanwhile, New Yorkers are also getting another option for entertainment.
