Think a little about the possibilities of Achieve monumental goalsAnd how might you celebrate such an event?
Confetti shower? check.
Can anyone hug me? check.
Big trophy presentation? check.
Hamburgers and french fries for everyone who made it happen? of course? check.
Hot tub with good old dad? Uh…
Austin Cindric returned to Daytona Beach about two weeks after winning the Daytona 500 last week.
With team owner Roger Penske and crew chief Jeremy Brins, he Helped roll the car that won his Daytona In the 12-month parking lot at the Speedway Museum.

Then he took some time to expand on the story of his weekend celebration itinerary following his triumph.
Eventually that Sunday night he finished all his post-race duties. It’s basically a bunch of photos in Victory Lane, a press conference, more photos, and perhaps a few more.
He and his second Team Penske crew (and the big trophy) then headed east on ISB to Steak’n Shake. steak When shook Until closing time.

While his team set out to extend the festival elsewhere, Sindrick headed to his parents’ hotel, One Daytona’s “Daytona,” across from the Speedway. He crashed in the next room owned by Penske executive Walt Zarnecki, who had already returned home.
But first, a little more winddown was needed, so Austin and Daddy Tim headed to the pool deck and climbed the hot tub.
“Apparently, we weren’t supposed to be there,” Sindrick recalled with a laugh. “A maintenance person came in and said,’Did you know this is closed?'” I said no and told him that the gate was open. And I said, “But if you want to hang out, I just won the Daytona 500.”

Until then, it was 3:00 am, and when bedtime finally started on the site, Team Penske presidents Austin and Tim scrolled through the rest of the text message, literally continuing to immerse everything.
“I hadn’t seen my pop in a week or so,” Austin said. “He was IndyCar’s, busy testing, and I was in Daytona. It was a good time to call his family friends and catch up.
“We were comparing text messages to see who heard them. It’s certainly the moment you come back, and I mean it in the best possible way. It’s an experience we’ll never experience again. “
With Cindrick’s first full-time Cup series season continuing to roll out in California, Las Vegas, this week’s Phoenix and more, the day ahead has been busy, regardless of Daytona’s results.
Modern technology provides a highly accurate simulator for today’s young racers to learn how their car works on different tracks, and Team Penske takes full advantage of it. Throws planned promotional obligations for sponsors and previously unplanned trips for car delivery to Daytona. It’s a bit confusing for a 23 year old racer.
“There has been nothing normal in my life for the last three weeks. Let me tell you that,” he said. “I haven’t talked about groceries before I left for Daytona. I spent a total of 36 hours at home.”
He has been known as a team owner since he was a toddler. He knew the team president for a longer time. Did he consider seeking a deserved holiday just to relax, take a deep breath, or catch up with laundry and groceries?
No.
“I didn’t want the best days of my life to get in the way of my greatest chances of life, which drives two Roger Penske cars,” he said. “The season has begun, I have to hit the ground and understand this. We are in the playoffs and have a chance to win the championship. I still want to work 100% preparatory work. I am thinking.”
“Penske Way”, they call such an attitude.
“It’s so cool and really special like it is today, but otherwise I’m in the simulator right now,” Cindrick said. “There is a lot to work on.”
