Exclusive: Bayridge Cafe owners say the store was destroyed four times by the same suspect

Brooklyn Bayridge (WABC)-Investigation is underway after the owner of a Brooklyn cafe says his store is being besieged by a destroyer who refused to be put in jail by police.

Mohamed Khalar owns Take Away & Cafe in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

In this witness news monopoly, he says his store was destroyed four times separately by claiming to be the same suspect.

“The man was arrested by 68 racers a few weeks ago and released the next day. There is insufficient evidence. He will come to my store a few days after his release,” Karal said. It was.

Surveillance video shows that the same man broke all the front windows of Khalar’s store in four installments, causing a total of $ 12,000 in damage.

He says police arrested the man after the third incident, but soon released him.

Khalar says the suspect also threatened to “kill” him before Thursday’s latest vandalism incident.

“He told me when I came back here-I’m going to decapitate you and hang in the middle of the block,” Karrar said.

Police said the suspect smashed the window in front of the store with a hammer on Thursday and shattered it.

“I’m tired. As you know, I spent a few dollars on windows every other month, like what would happen next,” Khalar said.
