Former 2020 game show contestant Timothy Briefnick, 39, has been charged with first-degree murder and burglary in connection with Rebecca Briefnick’s death in Quincy, Illinois.

A mother of three children was found shot dead in her Kentucky Road home on February 23. Timothy Bliefnick was taken into custody on March 13th.

As the investigation continues, Quincy police called the arrest of Timothy Briefnick “an important step in seeking justice for Rebecca.”

Authorities say Rebecca’s death has rocked the Quincy community.
