Regional wrestling begins on Friday at Palm Bay High School and Bayside High School, and the Brevard County program is represented by almost all 14 weight classes on both sites entering the semi-final round on Saturday.

With a heritage of 78 points, Merritt Island (69.5) was in the top two in the Region 4-2A team’s ranking at the bayside late afternoon. Host Palm Bay led Hernando 2-1A with a score of 80-69.
