FSFA Offshore Slam Big Grouper Earns Over $ 1,200

A fleet of 90 boats registered for fishing in the 52nd Offshore Slam Fishing Tournament sponsored by the Florida Sports Fishing Association, a recreational fishing club founded in Brevard County in 1968.

Many boats chose not to fish offshore that day due to the rough sea conditions where the easterly wind was 15 to 20 knots and 4 to 6 feet of sea was kicked. But for the winner, I’m glad I went anyway and certainly won the prize.

The team fishing on Sea the Day was the biggest winner weighing the biggest gag hater at £ 37.8. The Big Fish category has raised $ 5,000. Lola’s fishing team won the Grand Slam Award for Combining Fish Species for $ 3,000.

Relentlessly weighed 37.6 pounds of grouper, shy about the overall Big Fish Award, and raised $ 1,250, the number one in the category. Getdown had the largest Kingfish weighing 37.65 lbs, Striper had the largest Wahoo of 20.5 lbs and the largest dolphin of 15.0 lbs. All the top fish paid $ 1,250.
