Tampa, Florida — It was an unprecedented Tampa Bay Lightning Watch Party.
Approximately 16,000 fans create a home-ice atmosphere as they see the excitement of Game 3 unfold from within the Amalie Arena.
Due to Canadian coronavirus restrictions, this is about four times as many participants as Montreal fans.
“I feel like there are 116,000 people there,” Kyle Win said. “It’s electricity. The place is burning. Everyone is crazy. It’s great. It feels like a family there.”
Lightning fans had a lot of cheers on Friday and saw Bolt dominate on the ice and win 6-3 on the street.
“That’s amazing,” said Adi Squires. “There’s nothing better than being there. Fans are crazy and just exhilarating.”
