Happy Saturday, Southwest Florida!
Due to the recent dry weather, low humidity, and the refreshing conditions of this afternoon, the fire risk index is at high levels in some of today’s wink display areas.
Otherwise, the weekend weather forecast looks good overall, with a mix of sun and clouds, a breeze, and a maximum temperature of close to 90 degrees Celsius. Rain showers cannot be ruled out, but in most cases everyone needs to be free from rain.
Looking ahead to weekdays, Mondays are about the same, and there may be showers on Mondays. The sun and clouds appear to be mixed and dry on Tuesday, but the possibility of an uneven storm returns by Wednesday and continues until the next weekend.
Meanwhile, in the tropics … Due to the increase in tropical activity in May in recent years, the National Hurricane Center will begin publishing tropical weather forecasts for the Atlantic Basin. However, the hurricane season has not yet officially started until June 1. Meanwhile, everything is quiet in the Atlantic Basin and no development is expected for the next five days.
