Hillsboro’s agent looking for a Mustang involved in hit-and-run

Hillsborough County, Florida-The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in finding vehicles involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Dover.

Immediately after 8 am on Friday, January 14, 2022, a black Ford Mustang convertible attacked a pedestrian on Gallagher Road and fled south toward Lewis Laurason Road, according to agents. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and later declared dead.

There is no mirror on the right side, and the passenger side may be damaged.

“This driver’s decision to escape the scene of the crash was reckless, cruel and illegal,” said Sheriff Chad Kronister. “Our detectives are currently working to find this driver. If anyone recognizes this vehicle, please contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office immediately.”
