Sophia Haley Marks arrested in suspected overdose death of Robert De Niro’s grandson Leandro

new york – A woman was arrested Thursday night on suspicion that Robert De Niro’s 19-year-old grandson died of an overdose, ABC News reported.

Sofia Haley Marks, known as “Princess Percocet,” is believed to have sold drugs to Leandro De Niro Rodriguez before she died in Lower Manhattan on July 2nd.

Investigators are investigating a possible overdose, but no official cause of death has been determined.

Marks, 20, has been detained on federal drug trafficking charges and is scheduled to appear in federal court on Friday.

The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation by the New York City Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Leandro De Niro Rodriguez was also an actor. Along with his mother, he starred in the 2018 film A Star Is Born starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. According to IMDB, his other appearances include 2005’s “The Collection” and 2018’s “Cabaret Maxim.”
