The company added it will continue to take action to raise awareness and make everyone feel welcome in Jacksonville.

In December, a Jacksonville-based transportation company announced a $100,000 donation to the Together Strong Community Fund to fight anti-Semitism in northeast Florida. News4JAX news partner WJCT reported.

The Together Strong Community Fund was launched in November by Jacksonville insurance executive David Miller after a series of messages flew around downtown Jacksonville.

Miller donated $1 million to an effort to eradicate hate and encouraged other organizations to join in the effort.

CSX said the donation was in line with the railroad’s stance against hate speech, racism and discrimination.
