Lee Health reported 37 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday and one died on Monday.

Lee Health states that 37 COVID-19 patients were quarantined in the hospital on Tuesday. One death was reported on Monday.

  • As of Tuesday morning, 37 COVID-19 patients have been quarantined at Lee Health Hospital (inpatients).
  • Three of these patients are children being treated at the Gorisano Children’s Hospital in southwestern Florida.
  • On Monday, there were three new COVID-19 hospitalizations and four COVID-19 discharges.
  • 77% of the ventilator and 20% of the ICU room are available. There are no COVID-19 patients on mechanical ventilation and there are 7 in the intensive care unit.
  • A census on Tuesday morning showed 93% of the staffed operating table capacity.
  • Since the start of the pandemic, 1,205 patients have died at Lee Health Hospital and one died on Monday.
