Lifelong New Yorker celebrates 102nd birthday

Robert E. Gross was surrounded by family and friends on Sunday to celebrate his 102nd birthday at Gramercy Park.
Ross was born and raised in Manhattan.
The two fathers have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Prior to his retirement, Gross owned a successful pawn shop across from Madison Square Garden.
He is the last surviving graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania in 1942.
His love for life, Evelyn Kitay, died last year at the age of 101.
