Mayor Eric Adams meets New York drill rapper after proposing music ban to promote violence

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been a hot topic lately, and recently proposed banning the drill wrap genre from the city to promote the image of guns and violence. Mayor Adams made a proposal last weekend following the deadly shooting of 18-year-old drill rapper Chii Wvttz, and met with rapper, who is responsible for popular music, on Tuesday night.

Maino sat by Mayor Adams and posted a video on Instagram surrounded by nearly 12 drill rappers from his city, including Fibio Foreign, B Love and more. Maino said the rapper wants to have a real dialogue about the effects of drill rap and will work with the mayor to “develop something together throughout the conversation.”

At a weekend press conference, Mayor Adams insisted on pulling the drill rap away from the streaming site, much like Trump was “pulled away from Twitter.”

“I didn’t know what a drill wrap was, but I called my son, and he sent me some videos, which was alarming “He said. “We put together social media companies and sit with them, telling them that you have civil and corporate responsibility.”

“We pulled Trump off Twitter because of what he spit out, but we allow music to show guns and violence. We keep this on the scene,” Adams said. The mayor continued. “We are using social media to warn against the actual overgrowth of this violence in our community. This is one of the violences we see across the country. It’s one of the rivers we have to block. “

It’s unclear how Adams plans to change the wrapper, but as the story progresses, we’ll keep you up to date with Roomies.
