Crowds are heading to the beaches and promenades in search of the sun.
Coney Island and the Jersey Shore are one of the hotspots.
Lifeguards work on beaches that are well within the social distance of Coney Island.
The weather on Monday is drier and a little brighter, but it’s not really warm.
Even if the air is cold, there is hope.
“I’m really happy to be out,” said beach enthusiast Teresa Havelka. “I think everyone wants to go out because of the pandemic. I actually didn’t remember last year’s Memorial Day weekend. It’s just blurry.”
The weekend weather wasn’t what people wanted, but bather Aldontae Guess is delighted to feel “a little warmth.”
Coney Island businesses are still in place and the amusement park is open for weeks. Also, the columns are not long.
It’s a holiday from work and school, and Bryson and his family have the equivalent of a four-hour ride. First of all, “Soaring Eagle”.
“I haven’t participated in it, but it looks cool,” said a nine-year-old.
Meanwhile, the Jersey Shore also wants to have a good day this weekend after a disappointing start.
People who go to the beach are gathered on the beach, but they are trying to get the most out of it.
