NASCAR Advance My Track Challenge finalist new Smyrna Speedway

The new Smyrna Speedway can take days to win $ 50,000.

The local track is one of the six short tracks nationwide that has advanced to the final round of the Advance Auto Parts “Advance My Track Challenge.” This is a grassroots program that celebrates the connections between NASCAR’s local short track, community and enthusiastic racing fans.

The program started in March, allowing fans to vote for their favorite tracks up to three times a day on AdvanceMyTrack.com.

Five other tracks advanced: Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. Alaska Raceway Park in Palmer, Alaska. Berlin Raceway in Mann, Michigan. Hudson Speedway in Hudson, New Hampshire. Lacrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wisconsin.

This season, Blaney’s No. 12 Penske Ford featured at least one short track along the side of the car in each race. The new Smyrna Speedway was introduced at the Daytona Duel Race on February 11th.
