New York Crime: A Man Pretending to Be With Meals on Wheels Takes Elderly Victims in Bronx

Bronx (WABC)-A man accused of pretending to be a food delivery person for robbing an 81-year-old woman in Bronx.

The incident took place on Tuesday at about 10:30 am in a building on East 167th Street and Intervale Avenue.

According to police, the man knocked on the woman’s door and was with Meals on Wheel.

When the victim opened the door, the suspect pushed his way into the apartment.

Police say he had her purse and $ 20. The elderly victims were not injured.

The suspect was finally seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black mask, a black hooded sweater, a turquoise and pink jacket, dark trousers, and gray sneakers.
