The incident was reported Wednesday night after 5 pm At Bensonhurst’s house.
According to police, 31-year-old off-duty police officer Yvonne Wu shot dead 24-year-old Jamie Liang, and a 23-year-old woman who believed in a classic love triangle.
A 23-year-old woman manages to call 911 and is expected to survive.
Wu was clearly inside the house before the two women arrived.
Police believe the NYPD police officer had a “close relationship” with a 23-year-old woman.
Wu has been in this department for five and a half years. Sources have told Eyewitness News that she was in District 72.
The house where the incident took place belonged to a 23-year-old woman, but Wu did not live with the 23-year-old woman, according to sources.
Off-duty officers were detained and taken to the hospital for evaluation. She is expected to face murder.

It was not yet clear if the weapon used was Wu’s service weapon.
Police said she was calm and very positive when they arrived at the scene.
