New York Police Department officer in custody after shooting another woman in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn’s home: Source

Brooklyn’s Bensonhurst (WABC)-Sources told Eyewitness News that an off-duty NYPD police officer in District 72 shot both her partner and the woman she found.

The incident was reported Wednesday night at Bensonhurst’s home in Brooklyn after 5 pm.

The woman with whom her partner was with died, and her partner is said to be stable.

Off-duty officers have been detained, according to sources.

Little other details have been announced.
