NYC Weather: Storm Watch enabled

New York (WABC)-A series of thunderstorms are heading to New York, which may contain destructive winds and flash floods.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are valid in most parts of New Jersey until 9 pm Monday evening.

Severe thunderstorm warnings will be issued until 8:45 pm in Middlesex, Morris, and Somerset counties.

Rain showers can occur in some areas, but the rest of the showers last overnight until Tuesday morning, followed by sunny days.
