One dead and four injured in a car accident at Mill Basin, Brooklyn’s life support facility

Mill Basin, Brooklyn (WABC)-In Brooklyn, a speed-violating car broke through a fence and crashed into the side of an elderly home, killing one passenger and injuring four.

The 22-year-old driver lost control on Strickland Avenue and crashed into the fence shortly before midnight.

The vehicle stopped next to Sunrise at the Mill Basin Assisted Living Facility.

A rear passenger was confirmed dead at Brookdale University Hospital.

The other four in the car were taken to Kings County Hospital and Brooklyn, with no life-threatening consequences.

According to police, the driver was speeding up at the time of the accident.

So far, nothing has been said about prosecution against the driver.
