One dead in Washington Heights apartment fire Over 100 firefighters fought the fire

Washington Heights (WABC) — One person died in a Washington Heights apartment fire Saturday morning.

Officials said the fire broke out shortly after 6 a.m. on the fourth floor of a building on West 180th Street.

Authorities said more than 100 firefighters were on the scene to fight the fire.

No victims have been identified. Fire departments are trying to determine how the fire started.
