After stealing more than $ 2,000 of the COVID-19 vaccine from Cape Coral’s business, a person is accused of extensive theft.
Police reported that after 3 pm Wednesday, police officers were called into an unnamed company in Viscaya Parkway about the theft.
Police officers found that 10 vials of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine stored in the refrigerator were missing.
A person told police that the vial was put in the fridge on April 1st and went missing six days later.
Ten vials, each containing five servings, are worth $ 2,250 for $ 45 each.
Fingerprints were taken from the scene and the case was handed over to a detective. The suspect has not been nominated.
