Brooklyn, East New York (WABC)-Police shared disturbing new details about an 83-year-old suspect accused of murdering and dismantling a 68-year-old woman.

On Friday, authorities released a video of Harvey Marcelin riding an electric scooter and sitting on a human foot at a 99-cent store in Queens.

Authorities call the 83-year-old a serial killer, and investigators are now trying to determine if there are more casualties.

Marcelin, who was identified as a transgender woman, was arrested last week after Susan Leiden’s torso was found in a Brooklyn shopping car.

Marcelin, who was sentenced to two prisons to kill two different girlfriends, was charged with a second murder, criminal falsification of evidence, and concealment of a human corpse.

“It takes a serial killer off the street, which is the latest in a lifetime of vicious crimes committed by Miss Harvey, and we just hoped she couldn’t do any more.” Detective Chief James Essig said.

The suspect was arrested the following day, March 4, Leiden’s torso was foundAnd has been held without bail since Rikers Island.

Police believe Leiden was captured in a surveillance video entering Marcelin’s apartment near the crime scene on February 27. Marcelin was seen leaving the apartment three days later with a bag that seems to contain her torso.

They say the suspect and the victim knew each other for at least two years. Authorities are still considering how the relationships came about and what the actual relationship between them was.

“We’re still investigating motives, but based on her history, she can do a lot of evil things out there,” said NYPD Chief John Shell.

Previous arrest

Marcelin has spent more than 50 years behind the bar and was released from state prison in August 2019 and has been released on parole for life.

On April 18, 1963, Marcelin deadly shot his girlfriend in Manhattan and was convicted of murder before being released on parole for a lifetime in May 1984.

Then, on November 2, 1985, Marcelin fatally stabbed another girlfriend, also in Manhattan.

Her dismemberment corpse was found in a bag near Central Park, and Marcelin was convicted of manslaughter and subsequently released on parole for life in August 2019.

Marcelin was also arrested for a felony assault in 1957, booked in 1962, and raped in 1963.
