Hemenway, Himmler receive honor student from public relations association
The Florida Public Relations Association’s Space Coast branch recently named Abbey Hemenway As a 2021 Dick Baumbach PR Professional of the Year, and Robert Himmler As a communicator of the year.
Hemenway is the Public Responsible Officer of the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization, and she has been with her since May 2017.
She develops and coordinates public relations programs that promote awareness and understanding of transportation plans, projects and initiatives through active communication with the public and the general public.
Prior to joining the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization, he was Media and Content Coordinator for Brevard Public Schools from 2014 to 2017, responsible for district-wide communication and media relations.
Hemenway holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Central Florida and holds a professional graduate degree in professional writing. She also holds a Master’s degree in Technical Communications from UCF.
She lives in the VIERA TV with her husband Logan and her two-year-old daughter Alice.
Himler is a marketing and communications manager and spokeswoman for Melbourne Orlando International Airport.
He has been with the airport for six years and is part of the airport’s business development and marketing team. He also works with operations, capital improvement and police personnel to foster relationships to strengthen airport relationships with airlines, tenants, passengers and the entire community.
Himmler is a graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management and a Master of Science degree in Airport Development and Management.
He is a certified member of the American Airport Executive Association and a graduate of the Florida Airports Council Leadership Program.
He is also a member of the Florida Public Relations Association. He is a board member of the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce and chaired the Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2022.
Williams promoted in Help Tech Group
Tonya Williams I was recently promoted to infrastructure management at Helptech Group LLC on Merritt Island.
Helptech Group is a provider of managed information technology support services for small businesses and individual professionals.
The company’s support services are provided via telephone, remote, and / or onsite support, depending on the needs and budget of the client.
Prior to joining the Helptech Group in October 2020, he was Executive Director of the Step in the Light Mission in Woodville, Alabama.
Lee has been appointed to a new position in Adleaf
Robin Lee I was recently promoted to Marketing Operations Director at The Ad Leaf Marketing Firm LLC.
Lee was previously an Associate Director and Creative Division of The Ad Leaf.
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and focuses on magazine design.
Prior to joining The Ad Leaf, he held positions in the Satellite Beach viral marketing group. Michael Brady Lynch Farm in Winter Park. As a technical writer and document manager for iWebGate.
