Roads closed due to severe multi-vehicle collision at Westchester’s Splanebrook Parkway

Greenburgh, Westchester County (WABC)-A serious crash closed a major road in Westchester County on Monday.

The collision occurred at around 1:15 am at Greenberg’s Milemarker 7.6 in the northbound lane of the Sprainbrook Parkway, just south of the Dobbs Ferry exit.

Multiple cars are involved and at least two have serious damage to the front end.

Currently, the extent of the injury is unknown.

The northbound lane is closed from Jackson Avenue to Dobbs Ferry.

However, the south-facing lane is flowing smoothly.

Police expect the roadway to be closed for at least an hour.

Investigation is ongoing.

According to officials, the suspect followed a 51-year-old woman on East 48th Avenue shortly after leaving the governor’s office after 2 pm on Thursday.
