Rock, Country and Blues Meet at the 2023 CMT Music Awards in Texas

Nashville, Tennessee. – This year’s CMT Music Awards Collaborations with Alanis Morissette, The Black Crowes, Gwen Stefani, Gary Clark Jr. Lynyrd Skynyrd And Stevie Ray Vaughan.

National superstars and five-time Grammy Award winners will also be recognized at the annual fan-voted awards show on Sunday in Austin, Texas. Shania Twain She won an Equal Play Award, recognizing her as a “visible voice advocate” for diverse voices in country music.

Hosted by fan favorites Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini Rainie Wilson leads the nominations 4 chances to win.

The show will air live on CBS at 8pm ET.

Carrie Underwood has the chance to break the record as the most awarded artist in CMT’s history with 25 awards. Co-starring Underwood was again nominated for Video of the Year for “Hate My Heart.”

Other performers include Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Wynonna Judd and Ashley McBride, Carly Pearce, Jelly Roll, Tyler Hubbard, Brown and his wife Kaitlyn.

Southern rock legend Lynyrd Skynyrd will be giving a tribute performance after the death of the last original member in March. Gary RossingtonBilly Gibbons of ZZ Top, Slash of Guns N’ Roses, Warren Haynes and Chuck Leavell of The Allman Brothers, with backing vocals from LeAnn Rimes and Judd, singers Paul Rodgers and Cody Johnson.
