Scattered thunderstorms return on Friday afternoons and evenings, with heavy torrential rains and frequent thunderstorms. Some distant inland areas can have a shower by noon, but most areas do not experience thunderstorms until after 2:00 pm.
Meanwhile, highs will return to lows until the mid-’90s.
Similar weather patterns continue on both Saturday and Sunday, with dry mornings and storms in the afternoons and evenings. Highs remain in the mid-90s.
Storms are more likely to be scattered until Wednesday next week, but another plume of Saharadust moving across the Florida Peninsula limits the chances of rain next Thursday and Friday, returning to a cloudier sky. There is a possibility.
The tropics remain quiet and the Meteorological Agency does not anticipate a new tropical system for at least the next five days.
