Shaq brings chicken and beef to Florida

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal has been ubiquitous in your food choices in the last few weeks.

Last month, a Florida grocery store launched a new brand of ground beef blends, “Meat District,” approved by O’Neill.

If the do-it-yourself food isn’t yours, it was announced this week that Shaq will open up to 40 branches of his “Big Chicken” restaurant across Florida Panhandle.

This announcement is a major step forward for franchises with only a few locations currently in operation, including two carnival cruise ships.

Shaq is a franchise operator with numerous national approval agreements with third-party brands such as The General Insurance, Icy Hot Medicine and Papa John’s Pizza.
