Mosquito Lagoon
The water level in the lagoon is quite shallow, so be careful when operating vessels near coastlines or islands. Here, black drums, red fish, and spotted trout are feeding. Use shrimp to bite into the free line or popping cork. Several sightseeing fishing opportunities are available along the coastline towards the northern end of the lagoon.
Offshore
Offshore small boats are out of the question, as marine weather forecasts require 4 to 6 feet of sea throughout the weekend. As the sea calms down next week, anglers will probably find good fishing for kingfish, sugi and snappers on coral reefs. Dolphins and Atlantic bluefin tuna may also be running on the edge of the present. If the boater returns and starts running.
Surf
Is Pompano heading north? perhaps. There were some good fishing for Pompano on the beach in the area. Anglers use cut bait and shrimp fragments, as well as fish bites and fish gum, as there aren’t really any sand fleas anywhere.
Sebastian Strait
Large crabs are eating crabs floating in the cove. Try drifting out with live croakers or live crabs to catch them or big snooks and big jacks. Sheepshead, snappers and bluefish can be caught by anglers who use shrimp to fish from jetties and catwalks. Tarpon also came out early.
Indian River Lagoon
Large swarms of large black drums and red fish roam the northern lagoon near the Titusville Railway Bridge and Max Brewer Causeway. Use crabs, crab splits, shrimp, alive or dead to bite. It also bites a soft side jig that weighs 1/4 ounce. Spotted trout are docks and other spots that offer a variety of habitats, from seagrass to mangroves, and can be caught in waters 2-4 feet along the coastline. Tripletails can be caught with channel markers and crab pots at the southern end of the lagoon. Eat a bite with live shrimp from the free line.
Fresh water
Tilapia can be easily found near the edge of the bed’s coastline. One of the most fun and unique ways to fish for them is to use bow fishing gear. Bass fishing on the lake in the area was great. Anglers are staring at artificial lures such as spinner baits and lipless crank baits. Wild Shiner is the best way to catch the right number and size of bass.
