“Dancing with the Stars”: Head judge Len Goodman announces retirement.Last 4 Couples Revealed

Los Angeles – After over two months of intense competition, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 31 has named four couples who will perform in the finale and compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Six couples competed in the semi-finals, performing one ballroom dance and one Latin dance each. Charli D’Amelio and Gabby Windey received perfect marks in both dances, so it was easy to guess that they would reach the final.

In the case of double elimination, the couple with the lowest combined fan and jury vote score is eliminated with no chance of salvation. That was Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater. The actor praised the perseverance and professionalism of his dancing partners.

“I came here with zero dance experience,” Donovan said. “And I needed someone to turn to and support me. Emma was there every step of the way. She was amazing.”

The other two couples in the bottom two were Shangela and Gleb Savchenko, Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart. Ultimately, the judges chose to save Shangela and Gleb, eliminating Daniel and Britt as the final couple ahead of the finals.

“I’m amazed that I can dance, in this competition with this amazing cast. It’s so hard to get to this point,” Durant said. “Thank you Britt. She is such a great teacher. And she learned her ESL for me! I enjoyed every moment.”

The biggest news of the night came from head judge Len Goodman announcing his retirement. Next week’s finale will be the final episode of Ballroom Dance Legends, which has aired every season since 2005.

The four couples competing in the Dancing with the Stars Season 31 finale are Charlie D’Amelio and Mark Ballas, Gabby Windy and Val Chamelkovsky, Wayne Brady and Witney Carson, Shangela and Gleb Savchenko.

The season 31 finale airs Monday, November 21, 8/7c on Disney+.
