Orlando, Florida — Thursday morning, Orlando’s Universal Studios will open the Jurassic World VelociCoaster to the public. They have some guests on board during the technical run.
It has even been blessed by Steven Spielberg, Florida’s tallest and fastest launch coaster and executive producer of Jurassic World.

Coaster show producer Shelby Honea said:
“It’s this immersive environment that’s not just about riding coasters, but being chased by hunting raptors,” said Deb Buynak, vice president of entertainment.

The ride theme is based on the “Jurassic World Raptor Paddock”. “This was seen in the first Jurassic World movie, so it gave us a really fun world to play as a designer,” says Honea.
The team worked with the film studio that created the film to understand the creative norms of the Jurassic period. “Yup [it was] We don’t have roller coaster movies, so it’s very unique, “says Gregory Hall, coaster art director.
“So, if we talk to the filmmakers and they put a roller coaster in the raptor paddock and it makes perfect sense with a cannon, would it be crazy. It’s definitely removed. It feels like a scene, “the tension I expect from the Jurassic franchise,” Honea said.

And I got the recommendation of a celebrity producer on A list. “Steven Spielberg himself blessed him. When we talked to him, he showed us everything we were doing, and he was excited about the new things in the queue. I know I was doing it, “Hall said.
When Hall told his family that his work had received Hollywood praise. “Oh, they jumped like you scored a goal in a football match. Your mom is just crazy.”
