Texas Train Accident Explosion: Milam County Sheriff says no one was injured “by the grace of God”

Cameron, Texas-Sheriffs in central Texas said on Tuesday morning that people living near train collisions and explosions were “by God’s grace” free from the worse consequences of trials.

According to Sheriff Chris White of Milam County, an hour and a half away from Austin, a train carrying a fuel tank car collided with an 18-wheeled vehicle in the town of Cameron.

Multiple cameras captured immediately after the crash, filling the early morning sky with a large tower of fire and smoke.

Fortunately, the sheriff said neither the truck driver nor the conductor was injured.

Sheriffs added that the fire was “mainly oil” and missed dangerous goods towards the rear of the train convoy.

Still, residents were told to avoid areas where many emergency vehicles were passing, White said.
