Connecticut (WABC)-The Connecticut family, whose dog went missing in February, finally reunited with their beloved pet.

Cindy was taken early in the morning of February 2nd when a family car was stolen from a resting place in Fairfield. At that time, the state was recovering from a blizzard.

On September 22, the case was suspended. The detective conducted surveillance activities in Waterbury, successfully finding and recovering Cindy.

Cindy was taken to a local veterinary clinic for evaluation.

So far, detectives have continued to investigate, and state police have stated that arrests are imminent.

On Thursday, the puppy finally reunited with his mother Valeria and his father Sergi.

They thanked CSP Detectives and Waterbury Animal Control, who held Cindy until a happy reunion.
