OC Bride enlists public help to find missing wedding dress

Orange County, California (KTLA) — A Southern California woman desperately seeks the help of the public to find her missing wedding dress.

Rebecca Nguyen of Mission Viejo is looking for a wedding dress after her family accidentally donated it to Goodwill.

Nguyen got married in 2017 and left her wedding dress at her parents’ house for safekeeping.

Her parents later divorced, and in the process of moving her wedding dress was accidentally donated to Blair’s Goodwill.

In a Facebook post shared more than 2,000 times, Nguyen shared her story and asked the public for help finding the dress.

“If you have one, please consider selling it back to me,” Nguyen wrote. “I’ll pay you more than you paid. You can even wear it to your wedding! I don’t mind sharing the joy and beauty of the dress. I want this post to be seen by as many people as possible. Please feel free to share.”

When Nguyen contacted Goodwill, an employee told her the dress had been moved to another location and could not be traced to its exact location.

This dress was originally purchased at Casablanca Bridal in Newport Beach.

Anyone who stumbles across this gown is encouraged to contact Goodwill. Contact Nguyen.
