The MOCA concert series jazz is back

Luis Disla will begin a face-to-face jazz renewal on the MOCA series on September 24th.

NS Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA) The free face-to-face outdoor “Jazz at MOCA” concert series will resume on the last Friday of every month from 7 pm to 8 pm on September 24th. Grammy-nominated artist Disla is a Latin jazz saxophonist, flutist, producer, arranger, composer and educator. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Disla has worked with artists such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Kirsty McCall, Victor Manuel, Mongo Santamaria, Mario Bauza, Juan Luis Guerra, Tropicana All Stars, Cachaolopes, Carlos Santana and Wyclef Jean. Jazz at MOCA is South Florida’s longest-running free outdoor jazz concert series and one of the museum’s beloved public programs. Since 1999, MOCA’s jazz has been unveiled at MOCA Plaza on the last Friday of the month. Hundreds of concert attendees enjoy free concerts, activations, and “pay admission” to museums until 10 pm.
